Modular power stations for Koelga marble
ROLT power systems manufactures and commissions two modular electrical power stations of total power 4,29 MW for the major Russian marble extraction and processing enterprise "Koelgamramor" (Russia, Chelyabinsk district).
The main equipment is mini-CHP - generator sets ROLT PSG 2000 based on gas engine unit MTU 20V4000L33 (capacity 2145 kW, voltage 6,3 kV). Generator set operation mode is parallel to the grid, without electrical output. Gas reciprocating power stations are equipped with heat utilization system of engine cooling jacket circuit and of the intercooler second stage, and with air utilizer. The total thermal output (about 4,5 MW) will be used in production processes of natural stone products and also for industrial and office buildings heating.
To avoid the fine dust impact resulted from marble processing, gas reciprocating power stations will be equipped with air preparation systems for ventilation and combustion. Project implementation period is 10 months. At the present moment gas engine units are fabricated at MTU plant in Friedrichshafen (Germany).
Information about "Koelgamramor":
Since 1924 "Koelgamramor" has been extracting, processing and producing marble products at Koelga deposit in Chelyabinsk region. The Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the House of the Government, Poklonnaya Gora memorial complex, Qol Sharif mosque in Kazan and hundreds of other buildings in Russia are faced with Koelga marble.
