ROLT energy service engineers had to do overhaul of five gas reciprocating engines Caterpillar G3516C. So the company sent to the site two service groups including certified engineers. The works were divided into two stages. At the first stage servicing engineers made diagnostic and checked the engine and its systems: oil, cooling, fuel supply, starting and exhaust systems. The second stage included change and repair of worn-out elements.

After checking turbocharges ROLT specialists discovered light wear. So they decided to repair these turbochargers and not to install new ones. It helped to reduce the cost of scheduled overhaul.

The gensets were removed from operation strictly under the schedule agreed with Rosneft. To avoid power supply interruption of gas processing plant the engines were repaired one after another and last for several months. It is worth mentioning that after the works finished Samarskoe decided to enter into long-term service contract with ROLT energy service to continue maintenance of the power plant. Also the customer asked ROLT to from a service branch in Orenburg.
