The main purpose of the conference was to demonstrate to the management of greenhouse organizations the achievements of domestic manufacturers in the production of materials and equipment for agriculture. Only Russian companies offering innovative solutions for agriculture were allowed to participate in the conference. ROLT group presented the latest developments in the field of power supply for greenhouses. The company was represented by Roman Izmaylov, Head of Sales Department, and Vladimir Nikitin, Project Manager. 

ROLT’s stand attracted different visitors including Peter Chekmarev, Director of the Plant Growth Department of Russian Ministry of Agriculture, Marat Akhmetov, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and other executives of agribusiness management of the Russian Federation. Company’s specialists told about new solutions for agricultural enterprises and provided different services for the construction and maintenance of power plants. ROLT offers gas reciprocating power plants on natural gas for power supply of greenhouses. Such gensets can significantly reduce energy costs and make more competitive prices for the final products. Peter Chekmarev was pleased to know that the company uses its own technological developments, not just imported equipment. 

After the practical part there was a plenary session chaired by Peter Chekmarev. In the report Mr. Chekmarev highlighted the need to build in the nearest future about 2000 ha of new greenhouses and renovate thousands hectares of existing greenhousing systems in Russia. Continuing this topic Arkadiy Muravyev, the President of the Association "Greenhouses of Russia", told about domestic equipment used in the construction and modernization of greenhouses as part of state policy of import substitution. Then the representatives of the largest greenhouses companies shared their experiences of using Russian technologies for vegetable growing.
